Been an artist all my life...
just started to call myself one a couple decades ago.

   Current Art Projects
Bob's Girls a.k.a.
a thousand things
The girls started as piles of stuff I've collected over the years. What do you do with a 10 gallon acquarium full of pencils? or several 5 gallon buckets of empty nitrous oxide containers? A normal person looks for a place to sell or dump them. An artist turns them into something.
Thus started A Thousand Things
The girls in very rough time order
1.)  Penny About $50-65 of pennies. Shiny ones for the bikini regions, dark for her tanned body.
2.)  Linguina 13 Lbs of whole wheat linguini covered in Elmer's Glue followed by fiberglass polyester resin.
3.)  Number 3 Made of left over nitrous oxide containers from a party at Red, White and Blue Beach many years ago.
4.)  Untitled Made of ~70lb of small nuts and bolts that I first tried to Elmer's Glue together. Then coated with fiberglass. Needs A second one was also made that looks better but is crumbly.
5.)  Leda Made from hundreds of old pencils collected when I was a teacher. Stored in a 10 gallon fish tank for years, they went through my 2003 fire-which can still be seen on some of them. The back is made of modern dollar stor pencils from china.
6.)  Elecktra (unfinished) Made from all the components of a power strip-switches, red indicator lamps and female plugs. When done, it will be wired in useful ways including nipples that are push button dimmer switches that control the brightness of the lights ringing the breasts.
7.)  Madera Made of 1.5" square wooden blocks each of which is the height of the tallest spot in the region covered by the block.
8.)  Nicole Sister to Penny, Nicole is made of $XXX nickels.
9.)  Marbelina Made of 1" marbles. Arms and legs are opaque black, the one piece suim suit is transparent.
10.)  Florence Made with over 1600 band-aids with a backing of cardbard made from the boxes they came in.
11.)  Lexi A wooden back board with lexan shelves in the cross section of the girls
12.)  Stretch Strips of wood in the outline of the girl hanging apart from each other with strings.
13.)  Lacey Made of a triangular grid of safety pins soldered together. Brass pins make up the bikini, nickel plated the rest.
14.)  Morticia Made of hundreds of small plastic skulls and one plastic skeleton.
Recent projects & Community Activities
I live in a great community in an area that is supposed to be the 'rough' part of town. I wanted to start a couple projects to engage the folks who live in the neighborhood.
Community Projects
Library and Herb Garden
1.)  Wilton Free Library I was looking for a way to downsize my library without throwing books away when I saw a site online about little free libraries. I had to make my own. (circa Oct 2012)
2.)  Community Herb Garden I saw some great TED.com talks about guerilla gardening and thought I'd make my own garden out in front of my home to share some herbs with the neighbors.

   Past Glories
Some of the stuff I've done in the past 60 years.
I've been making art for most of my life, and most of it has vanished or been given away at some point. Here a a few of the old projects I have records of.
Atention getting color to finish this off.
List of things to say here
1.)  Wire Trumpets I made about a dozen of these several decades ago. I sold one or 2, gave one to each of my musical brothers, and have the rest tucked away in a box in the garage. (Anyone want to buy a really cool looking trumpet skeleton?)
 2.)  List item 2 2/28
 3.)  List item 3 2/27
